Registration for AP Exams
Registration for AP Exams begins January 16th and ends March 16th.  AP Exams are administered in May but must be paid for by March 16th.  Exam fees are $87.00 for regular lunch and $57.00 for free/reduced lunch students.

Payments may be made in total or in three equal increments.  All payments must be made out to Barbe High School and given to Mrs. Davis.  The name of the exam should be written on the check.

Jan 30th -  AP Night
Barbe High School AP Teachers invite current AP students an prospective AP students and their parents to attend a meeting from 6:00 to 7:00 pm in the school cafeteria.  the meeting will provide an overview of the expectation and benefits of Advanced Placement classes.

Jan & Feb - Central library Programs

Jan 24th

Poetry Out Loud -  6:00 pm
Bring a print out of  two poems that you the high school student has memorized and will present in front of three judges and an audience. Judging will be on accuracy, presentation, and believability among others. Prize? Advance to Regional’s then State (winner receives trip for two to Washington D.C.) then Nationals and a chance to win scholarship money.

Teen Writer's Group -  4:00 pm
If you are interested in improving your writing skills, learning about copyright, getting published, or writing as a profession, join others with similar interest at this organizational meeting. Help plan the meeting dates, topics, and focus for this group.

Feb 16th

Financing College -  6:00 pm
Discover the various ways that students and parents can obtain money to pay for college. Reserve your seat by pre-registering through the CPPL Calendar Of Events on our webpage at

Feb 28th

E-Gamer Creation with Scratch -  5:30 pm
Learn about and begin using the Scratch program to create your own animation, interactive games, and art, as well as learn programming concepts. Scratch is supported by a vibrant online community where projects (currently numbering over 250,000) are posted, downloaded, remixed, and uploaded. Limited seating available. Pre-registration required. Register online or call 721-7118 to pre-register.

Bluebelles - Barbe Buc Brick Fundraiser
The Barbe Bluebelles are selling commemorative bricks to be placed on the schools walkway.  Barbe Buc Bricks can commemorate graduation, be in remembrance of loved ones, recognize a business, etc.  Help support the Bluebelles while bridging the gap between past, present an future students of Barbe High School.
