What is FBLA?

FBLA stands for Future Business Leaders of America. FBLA is a club that gives you the chance to compete with people across the country in business types events.

What DO YOU do in FBLA?

In FBLA you take tests to see how you rank with other people.

First step, choose your subject (Business Law, Desktop Publishing, Entrepreneurship, and many more).

Then, you go to district convention (Leesville High School this year) to compete so see if you can make it to state.

Next is State Convention (Baton Rouge). State Convention is a whole heap of fun. There is so much to to at state.

There are special classes for your subject to give you a boost. There are special seminars with famous people in the business world.

There is a fun dance on the last night and everyone goes.

The third and final step is national convention, if you think state sounds fun. This is incredible. There is so much to do that I can't even list them.

How do you participate?

In FBLA, Everyone goes to district. If you take a test and make an "Excellent" on it, then you go to state. When at state, you have to place first to go to nationals.

And Nationals is the end of the road so you advance no more.
