Math Club - Mu Alpha Theta

Mu Alpha Theta is a National High School Honor Society organization that is dedicated to promoting scholarship in mathematics and establishing math as an integral part of high school education.  Our math club has a requirement of being enrolled in gifted or honors mathematics courses and maintaing a 3.0 GPA. All members are expected to compete in at least one high school mathematics competition, work our math contest called Mighty Mu for 3rd-5th graders and attend a three day state convention in the spring. 

Club activities include: an induction ceremony, homecoming parade, holiday party, 3-5 high school math contest, AMC, LSU High School Math Contest, State Covention, Mighty Mu, Laser Tag after state convention and an end of the year picnic in the spring where graduation seniors are honored and new officers are presented.
